From the stop "Hauptbahnhof", "Stadtmitte" or "Feuersee" take S-Bahn line S1 (Herrenberg), S2 or S3 (both airport) to the stop "Universität".
From the airport
The S-Bahn station at Stuttgart Airport is located on level 1 (signposted S). Before entering the platform, you must buy a ticket. The orange ticket machines are located directly in front of the escalator. A ticket for 2 zones is required for the journey to the university/ Vaihingen area. Enter the code "002" on the ticket machine keypad and pay for the ticket by cash or card. On the platform, take the S-Bahn line S2 or S3 in the direction of "Hauptbahnhof" and travel to the S-Bahn station "Universität".
